The arts are important to us, both as a means of personal expression
and a manifestation of the divine. Circle Fellowship is a haven for those
who create, perform and appreciate the spectrum
from textile arts and
stained glass to poetry and music. Our walls frame member’s writings and
resonate with vocal and instrumental music.
Our space is uniquely suited to music, from group singing at services to the special concerts we host from time to time. Our Fellowship has many artists among its members and friends, and we’re pleased to make the Fellowship House available to those who appreciate its special acoustics and ambience. The space can seat 50-60 people in addition to performers. A fine electronic piano is available.
Circle Fellowship has joined with the Unitarian Universalist Church of
Indianapolis to host the Indy Folk Series. Since 2001, the Indy Folk
Series
has presented local and national artists from singer/songwriters to acoustic
jazz, Celtic, bluegrass and American roots performers. Indy Folk Series
performances are at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis (
also known as UUI)--see the folk series web site for dates, times and a map.
Join us for an evening concert or a Sunday service, which may include a group sing-along, instrumentals, a vocal solo or a topical parody. Some say “He who sings prays twice.” At Circle Fellowship, we may question the theology but share a delight in the transcendence of all the arts.
